T3... Whooaaaah

King of hillclimbs, but hey that stuff went out 10 years ago. Congrats to doo for being 10 years behind:)

If you really think the T3 is only good at hill climbing.....10 years in the past, then you should pull your head out of your a..s and move into the present day. Iam not knocking poo`s at all, as like them too, but my T3 is one nice sled..period.

Lander good post
it doesn't surprise me at all that a T3 174 is more nimble than your XP thats a big step for sure

i thought skidoo nailed it in 03.5 with the Rev in floatation and weight
Polaris was still stuck in Edge land (had many :face-icon-small-hap)
but Doo lost their way on the XP i had 5 or 6 buddies missing their Revs
and throwing parts at their XP so good on Doo for the changes on the XM chassis and good for the sport
Ski Doo needs to keep refining and addressing weight (in my opinion)
and Polaris needs to address engine (in the works sounds like) and i think
snow shedding and track options and fit and finish

let it snow XP lovers don't kill me !

and maybe a 174 3'' is not for everybody but good on them for making it a
option for the folks that doo:face-icon-small-hap want one factory

Present day Ski Doo is 10 years behind,174" or 3" is nothing new except in the BRP marketing dept.
Condition specific package hyped up to sell. With the crappy conditions they will overheat and wear hyfax faster than your panties bundled.

Wait... that's wrong there is already a thread on it.
Good sled with teething problems like everyone has.

One of the problems for manufacturers offering a 174x3, even shorter 3" models is that people buy a lot by looks (at least where I am from). They walk in and want the biggest/baddest sled. Then they go out and it's too much sled for them to handle or it runs too hot etc.

They bring it back disappointed and upset. Leaving it to the aftermarket ensures they don't get into this predicament.

I have no idea how hot the T3 174's run on the trail but if its anything like my buddies '11 etec than 95% of the people would hate it and take it back after the first trip.
