Electric tractors planting corn, electric trucks hauling produce, we need to drill here and now. Wind power is a good thing any power is a good thing but we need to also build refinerys and get to work.

Put some incentives out there like exist for roads, and the Alaska pipeline...if it is going to take 10 years in normal times, give them incentives for getting it done sooner...clear out the bureacracy, stream line filings...

there is a WHOLE campaign slogan in that...but McCain wont get there unfortunately...if he does, he will win, if he doesnt, we are headed for obama nation...

Did you get alook at the 26 year old blond he was with and the multi-million dollar jet he was flying in ? Well guess what ? Regardless of technologhy in no way will any windmill fly Boones Jet nor will it blow dry the hair of the blond he was with. LOL

I also think that pickens is in it for profit but I think he is dead right about keeping money here in the states. we need to keep our money and our jobs here or we are doomed to reduce our standard of living to that of the rest of the world.sure pickens wants to capitalize from this good on him thats what drives our economy. instead we are about to elect leadership that wants to make the problem worse. We should close our borders to foreign oil and trade in general and put americans to work again. This is America we dont need expensive foreign oil and cheap chinese junk.

But wind mills can provide that power for her hair dryer, as said we need to diversify. Last night on the Planet Green channel they had a show called Mean Green Machines, and they had a battery powered MX bike vs a Yammi 250 and while it didn't win it came damn close (within 1 mph in acceleration, within a couple of feet off a jump, about 3 seconds behind in a hill climb and beat it in a technical coarse). The bike was the inventors first model and in looking into it I found some interesting articles:
