Switching oil in 2003 550 Sport Touring

Looking for some advice/thoughts on switching the oil in my Polaris. I have a 2003 Polaris Sport Touring 550 fan cooled with about 7,500 miles. I have always run Polaris oil in it since i've owned it...about 6 years now but am wondering if it would be ok/a good idea to switch over to Yamalube. I put a new top end in it about 800 miles ago, rings, pistons, cir clips, gaskets, etc.(wisco). I have a 2003 Yamaha MM that I run Yamalube in and was just wondering if I could just buy yamalube from now and and run it in the Polaris. I haven't bought oil this year yet so i'm not sure if i'll be saving any money, the price diff between the two but just for convience of not lugging around another gallon of different oil. Thoughts? Thanks for your replys.

Yamalube is good oil, run the Polaris until low and add the Yammi oil.
