Switched over to a kitty kat!!

Hey guys I finally broke down and sold my Doo and got a Cat!!! I bought a 2009 m1000 162". Wondering if there has been any problems or issues with this sled that i need to watch out for and what cool things everyone has done to this sled. Thanks everyone!!!

welcome to the club. You are not the first recently to jump ship to a cat...seems to be a common trend. The only issues many on these new M's is just your fuel mix ratio. The oilers seem to stick on the 09's sometimes. As for cool stuff clutch vents and dial in the clutch, sw pipe, bdx or timbersled intake. Those are the usual things that will make that sled run like a raped ape.

Welcome you wont be disappointed...when you change oil on your diamond drive make sure you check the bearings, theres a big thread on here about the replacement parts best of luck

Mine ran great all year at elavation Which is were i ride it 99% of the time. But i did break it in on the prairies (put on about 250 miles) and it ran like crap the whole time. A terrible mid range bog that would not go away. Both my Bro and Dad had the same problem but not as bad as mine. If you do any flat land riding youll need a box.

Welcome aboard the M sled is a great machine. they have been around a while and are tried and tested. Make sure to check with your local dealer to make sure there are no updates that need to be done.

Hope this helps Jeff
