Sway bar removed?

I looked at my shafts, few pits and nicks. Looks like 400 bucks to fix them. Don't really wanna spend a lot of coin on shocks cause I'm not sure how long I will keep sled. Does anyone have a good guide line as to when you need to replace shafts? Would I be smart to put OEM shocks back on?

Are your current shocks Walker Evans Air shocks?

When I had some nicks in my shaft Fabcraft stoned them out a little and put them in a water tank and compressed them to see if the seals leaked as they passed over the nicks. That is the way to tell. However it sounds like the other Dragon being stiffer means your shocks do need recharge at the least.

If someone can check yours like Fabcraft checked mine then you would know if you need new shafts. The shafts aren't THAT expensive to replace, I believe Fabcraft has those cheaper than Poo. Or find a good set of used ones. I have a spare set but I don't want to part with them at this time. "Go high fast" here on snowest forums is my riding buddy and he has a set for sale, they have not been revalved but if I recall they are in good shape. Fabcraft is local for me, so if you wanted to go that route it would be possible without the extra shipping. Just an option for you: http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=389035&highlight=walker

He wants 200 plus shipping which is a deal. And if I recall correctly the 2010 shocks do not need revalving (you would need to check on that). Just check the nitrogen charge and go, they have low miles on them...
