Didn't do a lot of riding last weekend so I was going to try to get some time in. I think the weather's supposed to be decent.

Pretty sure I'm in. Just checked the weather, it was looking like Saturday, but now Sunday looks better...

Hey Herb, we might have to got up to Canada. I was shown some additional acreage that ain't meltin' any time soon.

Canada, eh?

Not sure, I'd have to find my birth cert., I don't have one of those fancy EDL's or Passport thingys

You really think it's worth the drive? Isn't it gonna be like 4-6 hrs one way?

I was there last weekend and there was snow at 3400'

Whatchu talkin 'bout Willis?

I'll be up there Sunday. Probably Saturday night and campout unless the weather is bad.

Just to ride the small patches of snow left.... Since its pretty much all melted out. ;)

Still snow?

anyone ride this weekend? How much snow at the meadow? I need one more run up there before they close the mountain.

Better hurry, holes opening up on either side of the snow bridge...

If I'm correct
Need passport to Canada ....unless you don't stop, and jus run the gate.
They may let you in with birth cert but the states won't let you back in with jus BC, need passport

So get one....before next year

Snowmoherb - Yep, been up there late season to find the snow bridge collapsed on the way out... :face-icon-small-sho Just took a bit of off-camber creative riding to get home... :)

Note: Called the Forest service. On (5/31), they measured about 4ft at the trailhead. I am not sure where they measure, so my guess is you had about 2weeks starting from 5/31. Keeping to the 24" minimum rule. These sunny days may accelerate that though.

Was a great weekend up there. Several of us camped a short clip from the start of the snow and rode both Sunday and Monday.

One of the more memorable parts was getting Baker Dan off the mountain w/ only 1 cylinder firing on his older Mtn Max.

Solution: send him flying down the wall of the railroad grade as he didn't have enough power to get back up and around the way we came in.

I've got a funny video of it all but will need to process it when I get back home. For now, here is Baker Dan psyching himself out just before zippin down into the meadows.
