agreed. If I'd seen it I would've picked it up. I walked around the parking lot with a trash bag before I left and got a lot of trash left behind by other groups as well.

That's very disappointing. I hope the two guys who left them behind are informed of how important it is to pack their sh!t back out. It makes all of us look bad.

They will be told and they won't be riding with me again
It looks like Summit should get some snow this weekend. I have to work but I hope to go the weekend after next. The road to Maclaren was good two weeks ago with the exception of about a mile or two that was dry.
And for you guys highmarking down low, if you see dirt and rock behind you, it's bad for your track.

I wouldn't bar them from riding with you again, just be sure and bust their balls when they toss stuff out. Bring a trashbag, throw it in your backpack or seat pocket instead of pitching it in the snow. (even worse when they dig a hole in the snow and "bury" it. What happens when it melts?!?
We have limited numbers of people that ride to begin with, we should encourage more people to ride, but at the same time, be responsible stewards of the areas we ride.
Sorry for ranting, summits a cool place, and the tit is a nice stopping point (in and out) I hate to see trash up there. We had two people with us who had never been to summit and then saw that laying at the tit, it wasn't really cool....

Anyone ride Summit this week and have a report? Looking to go down this weekend. Bring a short track or long track this time?
