Summit is 15 miles north of Paxson, most people head back 12 miles to the tit (start of arctic man race) and ride there, there's better riding closer to the road but it needs a lot more snow cover to hide the rocks.

Light sucked first thing, then it opened up for about a hour and then peaked in and out for the rest of the afternoon. Deff a good ride for 1st ride of the season. Broke ski loop in brush down below, then a hole opened up on my pipe. not to shabby. it is pretty tracked up, but looked like snow tonight.

It was pretty good...the late start paid off since it didn't break until around noon, after that sunny and warm, cooled off around an hour before sunset. There's about 6-8inches of fresh on a hard base most places, the tit is wind swept, the valleys have 2 feet or more of fresh, no one could tackle courage.

My grade checking class is done thursday.... so how about cantwell friday? My buddy Carey told me Chit sold the Paxson lodge... so hopefully its safe to stay there now - two years ago i thought he was gonna kill me in the middle of the night for parking in the wrong spot and walking thru the dining area with an 18 pack. Just joking but seriously.
Second thoughts... maybe cantwell will be better. I only like heading that far north once a year - for Arctic man...
