Summer projects

New taller track and still tryong to decide what I want to do motor wise, all I know is that more power will be coming outta her.

Maybe some powdercoating but who knows long summer ahead of us

Going to 174 by 2.5
My own skid setup to work with ice age rails and 9 or 10 in wheels
custom turbo kit, 12 to 15 lbs
custom venting
custom valving on all shocks by EVO Industries
headlight and airbox removal

Full strip down to the bare chassis, custom powder coating of everything. I am thinking of going with a black and orange color scheme. Everything including suspension, motor mounts, bars, riser. Turbo port the motor, fresh topend. Coated pipe, every piece of excess weight removed.

Should be a fun build. Its my first full mod, I am doing all my own powder coating so I should get just the look I am going for. I will post pics as the project gets going through the summer!! All ideas are appreciated
 
Getting rid of the Tison chaincase and going to a magnesium edge case. Should help out the old girls handling. If I do good money wise I may finally break down and give Ralph at Split Second my motor for a few months.:cool:
 
Was going to do Ralph's 1300 in an XP...But...Seeing as how we have almost no work i'll be going this route:

-09XP - Killer year end deal
-Skid setback/extensions and 150~156 x16x2.5 3 pitch
-Split Second Big Bore
-Put it on the dyno, figure out a few tricks and probably end up with an NPP single or twin pipe setup

well if work goes good this summer..most likely will do either a carls 860 twin piper..or a PG turbo....will change track to a camo extreme 163 2.5, and most likely do either CR racing's tunnels sides or Kurts sides(FTX)..if money is low I will skip the big power and just do porting....

136 xtralite with 151 extensions. Gotta bolt that thing in and do some figuring.

Hopefully many turbo XP kits to help fund my 1275cc Rotax triple project that has been collecting dust and maybe I can get my daugther's nitrous system done on her 740cc big bore. Only have to swap out soleniods and a new tunnel extension on that sled.
 
My summer project is to try and get rid of the Edge Mod that Never Was.

That and move to Alaska. Don't think I'll have time for much sled building.
 
If i can get enough money together i will build a 2010 polaris rush with a 777 bore kit, BD turbo, streched to a 174x3 camo, 7" bar risers, 2 wheel kit, custom running board inserts, and a custom paint job!!!! This sled will kill everything!!!

Extend tunnel and track from 144 to either a 156 or would really like Tracks Polaris Series IV -159 x 2-1/8 fully clipped and ported. Install 7" bar riser from a 07 Doo. Do a clutch kit from Dynamo Joe . Maybe new drop brackets for the rear suspension. And total cleaning

if your doing a poo series IV track turn it around there night & day:D if not they tend to fold over..
 
With that fancy new rush rear suspension, how are us mountain guys gunna stretch that?? I think that it would work super sick if you could stretch it and figure a way to cover the track. Otherwise, if you are just gunna scrap the suspension wouldnt an iqr chassis be just as good or better??

Steering relocate
Straighten the subframe
Replace bent A arm
Tether
new bars
Custom tunnel work
and last but not least if I can make enough $$$ a stage 1 SC!!:D
