FLTR, Road Glide, 2550 mile trip for us. I think we'll come down thru Beartooth again. Love the pass and the Hiway between Yellowstone and Cody, beautiful ride. Hopefully not so friggin hot this year !

Winter didn't even start down here south of the interstate. I never even took my sled for a little spin around here. We never had more than 6" of snow on the ground. All of my miles were put on in the Black Hills, Bighorns, and Snowies.

I'm thinking about going to Sturgis this year for a couple days. Hopefully I don't get shunned for being on a sportbike.

What do you think of the 300 series rear tire? I have one and I like it but now they are selling alot of 330s and I think that just might be too big!

My dad just built a new bike with the 330 tire.. its nice.. and hooks up amazing.. but just a little too big.. even my 300 is a little big.. great looking just hard to get around the corners with bikes low to the ground.. Hummmmmmmm airride

got to say that when I was there it was called THE BLACK HILLS RALLY, does that date me??? That was in 1956,,I was racing an Indian M/C (really an Royal Enfield ) they had bought out Indian......The race was put on in conjenction with the rally, it was just a 4 day weekend. The race was a 3 hour marthon on a 1/2 mile moto cross style track (there was no moto cross yet), I was lucky enough to win the event, even tho my seat broke off and I had to ride standing up the last 1/2 hour, now that is common but not than.............do not remember much of the rally just the race....................

Question, how many of you do Kool Deadwood Nights? Basically turning into the same thing as the rally, jacked up room prices, meals, beer, etc. Had an awesome time down there last year with our car club, was wondering if anyone else goes down for that?
