stumped! clutching stage 2 sc nitro help!!!

back from valemount

wow, awesome ride. 3ft of stuck all the time powder. wow, play yourself out kinda day. trail was very bad though. went back to my dalton weights and stock primary spring. getting the clutching very close now. shockwave is screwed all the way in though and still a little shy on rpm. but not falling on its face and holding same rpm every run. drop a little off the weights and should be good. thanks for all your help guys. what numbers should a guy torque the secondary spring to?

thanks

That is great, glad you had a great ride. What Daltons are you running? Probably the 73.6 gram and up? Those are what I'm running this year and I hope they work. One problem I have is the weights are empty right now so I hope I don't need to take any weight off or I'll be buying another set. also what RPM did your sled hold? As for the spring I'm not sure on mine I'll be checking that later.I know it's a pain by yourself though!!! Does anyone know of an easy way to do a secondary clutch by yourself??

weights.

i'll check my daltons but my rivit hole is full with a heavy rivit right now. lol I will find out what weight they are, have to pull them out and lighten them up a bit. maybe no rivit would put me right in the ballpark. i was approx 8500 rpm. im thinkin i would like to be at 8900 but my memory from last year is still coming back to me on ideal rpm. my helix is screwed all the way in (they tell me ideally i should be out 1.5 to 2 turns from all the way in) and i have to put more twist on my secondary spring. so losing that rivit might be just right.

tyler
