strange problem, 2012 M8 turbo.

so i went through everything last night and still no luck. fuel pump works fine (tested with external power), i get 16v to the fuel pump when i pull it over, grounds are good, fuses are good. went through and checked all wiring and from what i can see its all good. i think my injectors might be stuck open because my plugs are always soaked and im getting a lot of fuel in my charge box. when i pull over the sled my fuel pressure spikes to max pressure and then immediatly drops. im not getting any lights on my fuel controller though either, checked voltage and only getting 5v when pulled over on the connector that powers the fuel controller. not sure if that is correct or what i should be seeing there. also put my ecu in my brothers sled and it ran just fine so i know that is good.

Thats a good though. The hot start switch seems to simply be a "flood the motor instantly" switch on the HO motors.

do you have a "hot start" switch? if you do, make sure it is in the correct position and not making the sled go full rich and flooding it out before it has time to fire

well i owe you a beer! i guess that hot start switch does instantly flood the motor. i thought it added a bit of fuel not as much as it actually does. also one would think that putting the switch in the off position would mean normal running condition, nope. had to consult the manual to verify that. flipped that switch and gave it one pull and i had lots of fuel pressure, pulled another 10 times and it was running like normal! thanks a lot guys! :yo:
