Has anyone tried this can out. I love the weight savings that this can has to offers over the rest. My concern with cans is a slight hp loss. Has anyone tried it out on the 800 rmk.

Loses power in the bottom and mid range due to decreased backpressure, some sleds get a random miss/bog after install also. We won't sell them to customers anymore but to each his own. On top of they they blow packing out like its going out of style..

I ran one all last year, loud as heck. But I loved it.

Honestly my 12 pro ran so good with it running PAR 12.5 head and CF can with the extra weight of spinning a camo extreme 2.5" compared to stock track and was still pulling 71gram MTX weights with 2g in the tip and 3 in the middle at 8150rpm. I know top end on a mountain sled is unheard of but my max recorded speed was 96mph. I have yet to see another Pro RMK that has seen anything over 86MPH on the recall screen. I am not a top end person or go out and shoot for speed but at some point she was hauling azz.

I am not even going to try anything else on my 14 because I know it worked well on my 12.

****The one problem I did have was if you look in the bottom of the CF silencer there is a washer welded right smack in the middle of the silencer. My washer/restrictor did come loose and fall out part way through the year. Caused DET issues when that happened.

There were pictures of one on DooTalk with a big brown burnt spot on the side. Not sure what happened. Speculation was that it was from a long ?wide open pull. Not sure if it's a common thing with them or not.

Dont know what anyone would run anything other than stock. Not worth the possibility of jacking up your warranty. Plus most all it accomplishes is making your wallet lighter. No additional power to be gained except maybe some "psuedo power".

And . . . louder is NOT a good thing these days if we want to keep our riding areas open . . . just a word to the wise!

Cheers!

Is there any can on the mArket that would increase a couple hp?
