Stolen!!!

I ride with a few cops that would take this very seriously, get your pics, vin's, and a tag # up and you will have a few more eyes watching in mn., some with a gun & flashy lights. Good luck, try not to let it ruin your season.

That sucks AZZ!
Rotten no good for nothing little gutless Ba$tards! This is so Dam Maddening. We bust our can to be able to afford little luxuries like sleds and in the bat of an eye some Fricken little SOB takes it away. Sometimes I wish we could pack heat here in Canada like our American friends.
Good luck gettin your stuff back. We"ll be watching closely here in Kelowna.

K-O-K-S-U-C-K-E-R-S!!!! Id say society needs to bring back the old ways of dealing with things. That way theft isnt so simple. Waste of time and money goin thru the judicial system. Thats why all the crackheads take these chances and steal from the hardworking guys. Will keep an eye out up North 2, not that it will help much........

Should almost put an ad in every local paper for a couple hund miles looking to buy newer used turboed yammie. See what kind of bites you get........

man that sucks ill have my eyes open id love to see that sled... with the rider!!!!! where are the pics???? that will help tons

this truly sucks, I know exactly how you feel. Some guy stole my uninsured sled last year. The cops will be zero help. They could not be bothered.

I think I am going to tape a couple of Tim Horton's gift certificates to the side of my sleds. This way the cops may have some interest in looking for them.

Or even better yet, leave a gift certificate for a couple o hundy there for your favorite sled shop/// then when he cashes it in you can catch the focker.

I'm in Grande Cache; only 140 kms from Hinton. I'll keep my ears open around the patch too. Hope your gear finds it's way home. Pics would be a great help.:(

Sorry to hear, I had my open 4place and sleds stolen once. Freakin pisses you off I know. Check craigslist every day. I would even try putting an ad on cl wanting to buy a used turbo kit in a couple weeks. Good luck and I hope the sob gets his. I know polaris has a stolen intrnal website with vin #s, so if a stolen sled shows up at a dealer, it gets flagged. Dont know if Yammi has same.

the story and description

Thanks for all the responses guys, I dont have pics, the camera that was loaded with all the memories was in the trailer!
I work North of hinton in the bush and was planning a ride this comming weekend, I parked the trailer in a rental company yard along side many others, locked her up tight and installed a ball hitch lock and left for work. that was at 8pm Sunday night, by 12 noon the next day it was discovered gone. everything inside along for the ride!
all I have is a description, it is as follows:
2008 Featherlite 29ft, trailer is BRAND NEW, picked it up on Friday, black its a car hauler with the big side door over the drivers fender, V-nose, has a large aluminum embossed feather in the front on the nose, the wheels are a standard steel grey 16" it also has a lit man door handle, shines a nice pretty blue! ......this trailer is loaded with cabinets benches, heater, helmet racks etc.....loaded up!
Alberta plate reads Y49515 serial # of the trailer is 4FGA424228C109614

the sled is another one of a kind creature

2006 Blue Apex, Synergy turbo kit, Blue CR Racing tunnel (powder coated blue), Holtz rear skid with carbon fiber rails and nine inch inside wheels.
Sled still has the factory headlight and gauge cluster, along each side of the hood is a white "SK Racing" sticker and a Quantum Velocity performance sticker in the middle on the added hood scoop.....the VIN # is not on the sled due to the CR tunnel....I know, shoulda coulda woulda.
Mountain mod seat and a monster adjustable handle bar riser.
little red Parker Knock box sits in the middle of the handle bars on top.

In the trailer is all my Klim gear, tools, parts and accesories.

I really appreciate the help one and all!

That's bull$hit man. What a joke, these damn scumbag losers! Even though I'm not looking for a sled anymore I check out Craig's, BF's, local for sales...I will keep my eye's open, that pi$$es me off!
I hope everything works out okay. I wouldn't want any other loser riding my pride and joy. Good luck buddy...

Might be a dum question but was there any security cameras around? I use a ball hitch locks suppose to be fool proof only if they use a chain to pull it out of were its parked which you would think somebody would notice. Ill keep eyes open sorry to hear that ive had property stolen in broad daylight before know the feeling.

Maybe a dumb question, but are there any serial numbers on turbos?? Seems to me that a sled like that would be stolen and parted out. They couldn't be dumb enough to publicly ride something that conspicuous, could they??

I feel for you , getting ripped off sucks ***.

But,

I had a 99 SKS stolen right out of my yard 2 seasons ago , had no theft insurance on it.

2 months to the day it was jacked, a Grow Op 4 miles from my house was uncovered along with my sled, I got it back with no damage.

I hope the same good luck finds your stuff, dont give up on it just yet.

did they take any other trailers? or just yours? sounds like someone KNEW something about what was in your trailer and targeted it!!!

That really sucks! That synergy turbo would maybe be a way of catching these guys. Your sled is kind of one of a kind. Even if the sled is parted out, the parts are pretty identifiable. I'll spread the word around and keep a eye open around Sicimous and Hunters.

Must have known it was in there because there is a million trailers in storage for them to steal but they new your sled was in that one.
