Somebody stole the thing right off my sled. I had it sitting at my cousins house for a night after our last ride, and when i went and got it my Wyoming non-resident sticker was gone. only rode with it once. Now i'm going there next weekend and probably have to buy another. Does anybody know if having the receipt saying i bought it is good enough or is there a way to get another. I don't really want to pay another $20 for one more ride.

Thanks man, but if i have to buy another, I will. But if i can get by with just the receipt i'd rather do that. But like you said i'm not gonna put it on my sled anymore. I'm just gonna keep it in my pack or something

if you have the receipt than only 1 or 2 dollars to repalce. yes receipt show any shop that sells them they will replace.

$2 dollars to replace with the recipt i did it a few months ago.
I guess i'll just have to do that then. I hope they replace it. Can't believe somebody would steal a sticker. Isn't there somekind of code amongst riders. Dont F&$k with other peoples Sh%$. Look but don't touch. Seems pretty simple. Especially something stupid like a sticker. Would been pretty messed up if i didn't notice and got busted next weekend. I'll get off my soapbox now. I know most of us respext other riders and i'm not even sure a rider took it, could've been a kid.

that sucks how did he get it off everyone i have tried to get off my sleds rip in half or wont come off. must of been hard up to steal a stupid sticker worth 20 bucks. Probably has a 30000 sled and cant aford the 20 sticker ok ok im just kidding about that last part
Yup, but I got my replacement through the internet office. It was a buck or 2 like above.
You can also carry the reciept with you, I'm sure any DNR or state official would be understanding. It's you, you have the receipt, and your sled probably has some sticky residue where it was. Take your chances is what I would do. You know you are still a paying citizen.

You could get one of those stickers I see on ebay that says "keep your #ick beaters off of my sled" but they would probably steal that too !!

We had a few guys lose theirs on the first ride. They apperently had wax or something on their hood when they put them on.
A little bit of heat and they will peal right off. Use a hair dryer or heat gun.
I think that the state of Wyoming makes the stickers so that they fall off after the first ride. I put mine on in an inclosed trailer (warm, dry, clean) and it still fell off on day #3. It seems to happen every year. A few years ago on my Gen II, I had a two color sticker. The current years sticker had ripped right down the middle and because it was perfectly on top of the previous years sticker, it looked just like a two tone sticker. I don't think we have gone a single year without me or a riding buddy loosing stickers.
