Got a 18 w/ 163.
Bone stock for now, will a clutch kit help?
If so, who's kit should I use?

if it's bone stock and you're not clutched for your elevation then yes, it will certainly help. i've been happy about a simple switch of weights to match my elevation. my last sled needed weights, springs and different secondary before i was happy with it. some don't stop there and even regear. i guess it depends on how you are trying to use your sled and at what elevation.

stock clutching is pretty dam good, pick your poison for weights, I us slp mtx weights for their great backshift quality.

What are you looking to improve on? Unless you have a specific concern, I don’t see you getting too far with a clutch kit on an 18 axys. The clutching is pretty solid from the factory.

For 10k’ you will prob need to run 10-60s. Maybe be able to run
10-62s but I’d say you prob be happier with 10-60s

If running 10k+ all the time might even have to run 10-58s with stock sled to get the Rpm’s where they need to be.
