I ride at 8500-10500 ft usually. I ran it bone stock the first ride. It ran ok pulling ~7600 rpm at about 9500 ft

I was planning on doing a shift assist, but while Im in there thought about changing spring and or helix

What are you guys that run similar elevation with stock m8's doing for clutching to get them to run better???

Thanks....

And yes I tried to search this but came up short

Your RPM is in the right ballpark... What are you looking to hear? Perhaps some more information on your end would help people comment or offer opinions.

I guess no one has "stock" anymore, but you and I? I'd be interested in responses also, have a 09 stocker also and am headed out west in less then two weeks. I have the recommended weights and helix according to the chart under the hood, but if someone has another opinion and have tested it, would love to know...

I ran what the sticker said for weights and it worked great. I believe I ran 68's and my buddy ran 70's. That was in the snowies last year. He had a can other then that we were both stock.

Just wondering if there is a better setup that guys have had luck with is all I usually dont touch clutching on my sleds so its new for me

I will say that the sled pulled harder at lower elevation Kinda looking for that feel higher in elevation

Not sure if it matters but I weigh 250lbs

Yeah I ran 70's last year. All stock except for the Super Q can. I can't remember what rpm's I was getting out of it, but I remember that with the heavier weights it seemed to pull a little harder.
