Can you all take it easy on him?

He went to the lodge with a chip on his shoulder because that is where he originally made a reservation and when he called to confirm 2 weeks before they had no record of it. This was all before I had a chance to call Mark and have him look into it. True or not I couldn't tell you but by the time I let him know that I could help him he already had reservations at the other place.

The dude rides only trails so a foot of bottomless in a meadow is epic for him.

I think something as simple as a guy asking him to move the sled is why he left.

He spends alot in the shop and seems like a genuinely good guy. He is just hard to deal with because he is very particular and truthfully Mark may be better off he stayed at the other lodge

Corey, Sorry, but I have to call BS on this. No one here knows anything about running someone off and now he is telling you he made reservations here and we screwed up. That I find very hard to believe. We have a written sheet and we take all the info on and then enter it in our checkin program and send a confirmation by email to the person making reservation. It is a very easy and fool proof system. He never made a reservation here.
I guess I am only upset that he went on here and posted about us making me look like a jackass. I was here all weekend and never heard a word about any of this until he goes on Snowest making us look bad, or about him making a reservation with us. He has pm'd in the past and knows how to get a hold of me. Don't know what his story is but what he is saying I think is bu****! Sorry for the rant, not aimed at you but this kind of crap pisses me off! This type of business is hard enough without unfounded accusations. Peace/out .
On a positive note are you going to WC this weekend? I talked to Dave today about bringing me some items from the shop. Thanks

I am glad we have this part of the forum where things can get talked about without everyone in the world seeing. That said, Corey what is this guys name? I have every reservation request since I have owned this place. I need his name to and look up if we have anything on him. I am betting not, but if I am wrong and someone here screwed up I will personally call him, aplogize and give him a couple free nights. Our system is very foolproof and is redundant in it's execution so nothing can fall through the cracks. I am sure he is badmouthing us to everyone and it is impossible to defend against anything like that. Thanks

Could you inagine if he did stay at your place and you had to deal with him for 4 days

I know his story doesn't add up but at some point it is beating a dead horse.

He came in complaining one day and I offered to help him get situated and that when the story changed. I'm sure he did swing by but was looking for any reason to get mad again. The guys name is Bill Mohr or More. I told him to act like an adult and drop it, but its hard if it keeps getting brought up.

He also swears he saw Burandt......Maybe his old age is getting to him


I hope to go down on Saturday if Yancey and Meyer are in.

Its funny though, there is a guy in town telling everybody we messed up his Doo.....and we never even worked on it. People keep thinking we are the out of business Skidoo dealer that treated people like ****.

Thats also hard to deal with.

But then again I am getting old and did to much pot as a kid! Oh, and he'll never know I got his name from you. I'll drink the koolaid first.

I would let it go. Defending yourself against a prich is useless. You will end up on the public forum sooner or later. Talked to Chris a couple of days ago and he said he has not been to the Mesa in a long time. Years in fact. On that note, he is kind of in the same situation with PJ and his mouth. Let it go and it will go away and your rep will stay solid with those that know you.

I am heading down on Friday and coming back to BV on Sat night. Who is all going down.

He came out looking to bad mouth mark and that was his mistake...TML has too good of reputation...and Mark has too much invested to let it slide.


I actually remember some post from him last year...steering people away from TML and talking up other spots and how much better they are. He has had something against the place from the start.



He was even kinda attacking people who would even stay there...with his not for yuppies comment. Whatever...he walked in and picked a fight in the wrong saloon.

Yeah, tough not to say something. I have had it happen to me in my businesses. The remarks keep you up at night and going WTF. I always called the person directly to get the information and it usually stops it right there. The internet of public forum is not the place to let it spill into. I know on here (SOCOCREW) it is a more private arena. Pissing matches behind a keyboard is like trying to reason with PJ....

sad days indeed when i have more miles in the last two days on my road bicycle than i do all season on my new 11 grand sled. dirt in my backyard at 9000 ft.
