Has anyone tried using bikes with a damper vs bikes without a damper? My 450x doesn't have one but I'm wondering if having one would help on the trails.

I ran one all last season on a 570 husaberg LT and found that it made the steering way to heavy on the trail and gave no benefits to darting around on the trails. The new single skag ski made a HUGE difference in tracking.
I the deep powder the steering was also way to heavy.
I would not recommend one.

I have a 2013 so it came with the new ski and I bought the new keel. Thanks for your input on the damper, you just saved me $400.
