Starvation or Red Creek fishing and camping

Ok, my daughter has a camp in the Hanna area Thu-Sat. I have to take her up and drop her off and then pick her up on Saturday so I'm thinking I might as well do some camping instead of driving all the way back home. Taking my boys and we want to do some lake fishing.

I know Strawberry like the back of my hand, so I can always stay and fish there. But I was thinking I would give Starvation a try maybe. Then I noticed on the map north of Fruitland a little lake called Red Creek.

Can anyone give me any camping and/or fishing info for either place? My boys range in age from 6 to 13 and we'll be bank fishing and tent camping.

Thanks,

If you want to try something an hour or so further than Starvation, hit Red Fleet State Park north of Vernal. There is decent fishing and great swimming for the kids. There is a cliff band on the east side of the lake that you can swim to from the boat dock (I would only do it if you have a good PFD on). Not sure if your youngest could do it or not...
There are dinosaur tracks in the rock (Signs will point them out) that are cool to check out. Only down side to swimming that far is that you can not jump off the cliff into the lake. If you do and get caught, it will cost you $$$. There are flush toilets in the camp area and plenty of lawn space for tents or sleeping under the stars. The picnic tables are covered for shade also. Great place IMHO.
