Staring sleds that have sat for 2 years

Life happens and I didn't get a chance to ride last year or even get the sleds out of the shed so they have been sitting since March/April 2014. Anything special I need to do before firing them up? 2012 pro 800 and 2008 700rmk with a top end rebuild before it was put away.
Thanks

If you didn't fog the engines before storage, I would pull the cylinders and spray some light oil into them and with plugs off, pull the starter cord several times. I'd use Marvel Mystery oil or 2 stroke oil thinned 50% with gasoline.

Dittos on putting fresh fuel in the tank after removing the old stuff.

I would put a new set of plugs or at least clean the one that are in it. Make sure the battery has a good charge. New gas, and new plugs she should lite right off

Just one of the beautiful things about fuel injection, change the fuel, give a few short pulls on the rope with the ignition off and then turn it on and watch it come to life like it was just started yesterday. You could always pull the plugs and add a little oil to the cylinders first if it makes you feel a little safer.

True ......and the one drawback is, with all of the ehthanol in the fuel and sitting for long periods is the injectors will stick. I've had a few sleds now that that has happened and they won't start at all or start on one cylinder.
My '15 with zero miles on it did it when I started it this summer.

Not to say that ethanol is not wreaking havoc with carbs too though as it is. Ate up the seals in my JD mower.

Now it's green Stabil in everything and travel to get non-ethanol.

New gas then pull the rope and go. So far it has worked on my old backup sleds

Just fog it with a whole can of either!!!

Just jokeing! But I see alot of people do that then wonder why it dosnt start without motor herion later on!

Just do what's been said here all ready, good thing about newer sleds is the no carbs to clean

My friend has a 2008 dragon let it sit two years
Started on second pull and then proceeded to die
VR went TU
and took out ecu. Hehehe

I would reccomended dropping a few good drops of oil or fogging oil into the cylinders. Let it sit for a few hours and turn the primary clutch by hand a few turns to make sure everything in there is working ok. This will also smear a small layer of oil on the cyl walls.

Change fuel for fresh stuff too.
