Stand Up snowmobile

A snowmbile that rides like a stand up jet ski i believe it would only work in powder.
I ride snowmobiles and stand ups just thought it was interesting

Interesting concept... but... I want my handlebars to stay right where I put them.

I did the moving handlebar thing already, really isn't that much fun.

i dont think that the jet ski style stand ups would work very well with sleds. just wondering what you ride as far as stand ups. i got some old skool early nineties 650s with milled heads, intake, and race impellers. pretty fun on lake superior on a good windy day

I also did the moving handle bar thing on my old 900 the adjuster got ice blocked and was stuck in the open position

Im not gonna lie it was terrible!!! 2 hours of it was more than enough

Granted it isnt really the same as the jet ski style

Actually if you look around you will find that Honda already built pre pro standup's just like what you are talking about
Apparently they were awful

i built one about 10 years ago. i used fixed handle bars.

interesting concept. it actually worked really well in some ways, really crummy in others.

first, it takes a lot less suspension to ride nice then regular sled becuase your legs work so much better when truly standing then sitting.

otoh, hard to turn. it REALLY wants to high side. on a motor cycle, you have the gyro effect of the front tire that helps turn the bike into corners. with a front ski, you don't have that, so the sled counts on the stance and outside ski to turn the sled.

add to that high cg of the rider, she really wants to highside.

surprisingly stable at speed though in a straight line.
