Wow what a day yesterday was! Deep! Bottom less! And Snowy! Parked in the snowpark with at least 4" in the lot and up on top well over 12" of fresh and was dumping all day! With another 10-16" predicted today its almost time to get off trail!

just go!! find out what its like for your self..
look at the cams, look at snotel for stampede, look at the weather, make notes, then go.. then you will always have an idea of what its like with this snow depth. (don't forget to account for yearly tree growth..)

p.s. the power lines are mostly open fields with the occasional stump.. usually early season you can avoid the landmines pretty easily..

Dont go down into ravines or gullies. Under the pair of powerlines. It will take a while to make a road to get out. You can fallow the single track down now and get back out. maybe
