Spring riding sucks...

Spring riding in UT is horrible. I'm thinking about selling the sleds because it is so depressing going out and riding now....

New snow about halfway up to our destination...

Storming like a SOB

Sucks getting stuck and having to dig out. (and yes, it is a pink sled, have to deal with what you get when your sled is TU)

Stupid snow getting all over everything, filling up your running boards, pockets, mouth...nose...ears....



All in all...spring riding sucks.

Of course you guys know I am kidding....I love UT....Just kind of the conversation we were having while riding today because we were skeptical about going after how sun beat it was yesterday and the storm coming in.

Once we got out of secret stash #1 (tree playground) and climbed up a bit the crust we got yesterday lower down was gone and it was all untouched pow. I think me, sledhead ut and girlpowder are the only sleds to touch some of the places we went today. Absolutely awesome day even though it was on a cat.

BTW, I hate spring, BRING ON WINTER!!!!!!!!!!! After all we were jipped part of this winter. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Today was epic!!!!! weathered the blizzard and the snow gods blessed us with
a few hrs of sunshine Best ride of the season for sure.....

Same area I took you guys into ron. Pushing snow with the bumper the whole way. All those nice downed trees and boulders were real covered now so just go blasting over them...We did end up dropping into that lake I was trying to get too, I don't know what the deal was the day we went up but it seemed pretty easy today, oh well, I know how to get into it now. . It was storming like a SOB...coming up to the meadows you weren't sure if it was a cliff or a nice open meadow because suddenly everything was pure white. Approach with caution. (notice the second pic...that is the lake we were trying to get too)

And GP, I didn't climb that tree, I was using it to keep me from rolling off of the drop off into the big trees just below it. One of those areas that while climbing you just run out of options and pick the best place to stick it, lol. And I think my blue pants matched the pink sled quite well. Next time I ride it I will need to borrow your shovel though, need something to match anyway....

I thought you were going to come up with us on Saturday? We had the M7 loaded up for you and everything. You missed out, it was a blue bird day and you could have seen my dragon melt down.

i was going to come until it changed saturday morning. i had to go to salt lake and get somethings for the trip. Also there was a viewing for a cousin that passed. I was really bummed i didnt get to come i knew it was going to be amazing

I think we may go to the shootout in fairview next Saturday. I don't think that I will be going due to the parents being in town...so I'll let you use the M7 that day if you want. . Stupid dragons and melting engines down ruining the season when we have the best snow we have had all year....
