Awesome early morning ride with Devil. Was goin great til about the halfway point and I smelled fuel. Stopped and floats were stuck open. Lost a bunch of fuel. So we cleaned out piece of rubber/plastic in the way of the plunger. Went back to ridin and another piece got in the way. Somethin obviously fell apart. Petcock O ring we think. Made it out. Plenty Sunny up there! Thanks for the ride and the help Devil. Let's do it again soon.

Looking forward to this weekend's water-X. Am I going to get the pleasure of racing against any fellow snow-westers in the 700 class? I haven't graduated to the big 800 level yet.....maybe someday
Here's a couple pics from our vacation last week
Here's where my quad got launched off the road, you can just catch the top of the pod sticking out of the bushes to the right of the big tree.
If you ever wondered if these spider bungy things hold stuff down good enough here's your answer. Three end over end flips and a barrel roll, smashed cooler still holding on for dear life with two coldies slightly shaken!!
Now for the highlight of the week.....My boy finally caught a decent size fish. I have never seen him so happy in all my life.
Will catch you guys this weekend on the water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ethanol degrades everything it touches that is rubber or derivative or composition of rubber. The inside of my KTM fuel line was gooey with the crap sitting in it over winter. The stuff probably broke loose in the YZ because it has never really ran 95 octane until I bought it, and its getting rode a little harder.
So I installed a tiny little filter after I rinsed the bike off. Hopefully anything that travels through now will get caught in the filter.

so i have a buddy who needs to drive to prichard idaho from sandpoint....
would it be faster to go to thompson falls mt, then up and over the pass to prichard...
or
would it be faster to go from sandpoint to cda, cda to kingston, kingston up the river to prichard?
how long does it take to get from sandpit to thompson falls?
how long does it take to go over thompson pass?

one, I expressly said to you "don't watch what I am doing". now you know why. don't worry, the sand in the eyes feeling only lasts a few weeks .....oh wait

If Nitro decides to take any lil tiny bopper hotties across the lake on the sled make sure the cameras are running...it didnt work out real well for him last time...lol

Who wants to drag race a new 255 HP wave runner? How close do you think the race would be? A friend has one and I thought that might be kind of fun to watch. Has anyone logged by gps or been radared on the water to see actual speeds when crossing?
