SPI Pro RMK fuel filters are available now

I was told that my injectors may be the cause of my problem, 2013 not running good at the end of last season. About 900 miles on sled. How can you tell if the injectors are bad?

Sincere question,
The stock filter is 10 micron.. Why do you feel the 30 will do the job and not risk plugging the injectors?

I believe the rail fitting is proprietary. Not sure you'll have any luck... I've always removed one from the stockers.

.

Don't forget that filters become more efficient as they plug off. A 30 micron filter May as it plugs become a 10 micron or less just will last longer. The other question would be is the 10 micron plugging pre mature? What does it take to plug a factory injector?

Thanks for the heads up on the required filter specs.

I feel 30 is going to be fine most car, dragsters and other sled manufacturer use 40 micron with not problems on fuel injection systems so why would it be a problem on the pro that uses the same type of fuel system but if customers want I could get a 10 micron cartridge for the filter assembly . I think your right on the hose end I have tried every where with no luck so far driving me crazy might have to just make it

Is the filter your selling close to the same size as the stock one?

the filter I am using is 3 in long and 1.25 in diameter so almost the same size and should fit in factory filter holder

Thanks for the reply, I'll know where to look when the Napa filter needs replacing. Like a previous poster said on this thread, the Napa filter is to big.

I am going to check the filter under the hood to make sure this SPI is the right one:face-icon-small-con

I compared the spi to Oem & don't think it is the right one. The connection at the tank is different , the other end seems right, maybe they sent wrong one. Thanks Nosman for pointing that out in your pm.

Hey sorry fellas, I spaced that it doesn't fit the 13's. Sorry for the confusion. SPI will have a filter ready for the 13's within a few months, so they will be in next years catalog.

Has anyone found a 90 or 45 deg metal quick disconnect for the napa filter .

QD 90 degree only in 5/16 size.

You are something else MH I looked all over( I thought) I even checked ebay found nothing but plastic . I will look today and see if that filter will go vertical along side of the oil tank . Sure would look better .
Thanks MH

SPI filters.

Have used the SPI filters on the Dragon era 800's.
I personally do not like them.
First reason is the hose it self would not bend a small amount without kinking
Also I had trouble with a couple or filters assembles and the quick coupler retaining ring as it seemed very flimsy. Meaning locking ring in the coupler is mad out of poor quality tin. lol

Will use up the 3 spi filters i have but think i will go back to the High Price Polaris filters.
