Speedo shows to much speed

okey my 900 166 just started this , it shows to much speed , even when it is idleing the digital speedo shows speed traveling from 100 to 190 kmph ,

this is ****ing up my sleds milage lol

What is happening

Probably grease in the speedo cup (did you grease the fitting under the secondary recently) or bad speedo sensor...

Where is the speed sensor locaded?

inside the cab in front of the left footwell below the secondary clutch. It is the bolted onto the gold cup with grease zerk and plugs into a harness just by the chassis ground (basically right beside the end of the drive shaft)...

Replace sensor, mine did the same and it's happened to a few others.
