Hi All!

My name is Grant my wife Amanda. We lived in Texas all of lives and had powder dreams that led to many Friday nights spent driving to the mountain and only catching a few Z's is the parking lot. Finally, last year we moved to the mountains and finally felt like we belonged. 3 weeks ago I bought us a couple of sleds! I enjoy and partake in all motorsports but nothing ever in my life has facinated me like this new machine! I stay up late watching videos I read forums, this has already consumed me. Already hit so hard I bent my rails. I want to ride everyday alll day. And I am very excited to become a member of this community.

Welcome! You are like so many of us who live the addiction and incredible fun this sport will deliver.
Be cautious as this sport has many dangers, learn all you can about riding technique, safety, avalanche and etc.. Get to a riding clinic for both of you....Amber Holt, Dan Adams, Matt Entz and others host clinics for all levels and they are so worth it. A few skills for mountain riding take the fun meter to a whole new level not to mention the safety of having control of your machine while riding. Sorry to hear about your affliction. Sounds like you have a severe case. You will soon find out if you haven't already it is terminal. There are many sufferers in your same shoes so don't feel like you have to go through this alone. There are many support groups on snowest that will help you get past the hard times (ie summer months, low snow years and the worst rainy season) usually meet on saturday's and sundays or where ever the snow is deep throughout the winter months in designated areas called snow parks. you can look up on the internet to find the nearest one to you. good luck on you journey and welcome to the forums
