Summitville Road, The crews are just above the 8 mile. (8 mile has good size rock on right) For now last place to park and turn, a 4 place. They are working today and friday, but no work again till wed.

Cool thanks for the update. Is it the same guys that clear the road every Year? The are really nice and take us sledders into consideration. Last year they even came down a mile or two to pull our truck and trailer out of a culvert.

My wife is a lovely, unselfish, kind hearted woman......they say opposites attract!

I would seriously be riding this weekend, without any complaints from the wifey...except my 6 year daughter has a taekwondo belt promotion test on Saturday. Sadly she is soooo selfish and doesn't understand my addiction. LOL

Wouldn't miss it for anything...she will be moving up to a red belt only about a year away from her blackbelt feel sorry for the guys that try to mess with her as she gets older!


But next weekend we should all get together for sure! I need to scratch the SOCO itch!

Yes, same guys different day. Hell ya, I'll pass that on. Just yesterday, some sledders were trapped behind rode sluff, they went down plowed it out for them. There trying to leave a layer of snow for us, but warm temps take it off

How is the snow in Wolf Creek area, it has been sometime since anyone got any snow. Is there still good powder in the trees? It's been warm, windy, and dry makes for a pretty hard base.

The snow is set up even in the trees. Pretty much early spring hero snow for the most part. Depth is still good but we really need new snow and colder temps bad!!

COME ON!!! I wish they kept the road plowed all winter. That eliminates 18 miles of crappy road riding. I prefer to use my gas on the good riding. Get 'er plowed boys!

Road there this weekend and it is almost plowed to the Elwood turn off sign. They have big turn arounds cut and said they would probably be thru by the end of the week.

Talked to dozer operator last knight, rode is a mess. There up past elwood turn off, but no place to park there yet. He said better to use old gravel pit for a while. Should be better by this weekend. And the snow is not very good. This post was cleared, I'm sure of it.
