so I could run for myself..

Congrads I have been thinking of doing the same thing. What are you going to haul???

My Dad did the same thing 2 1/2 years ago jumped in with a T800 C-15 Gravel transfer has done ok a ton of work to keep it on the road I help him out and still when busy we work on it every day of the week but for someone that wants to put the time into it then it's well worth it I think. Just takes away from any other life. So for us it's sleds and trucks and that is about it as there is no time for anything else but that's ok.
 
Holy chit Mike, good luck with it. Haul out some salmon from AK to Canada and Lower 48. That'll keep you busy next summer.

Awesome! Sacrifice riding for a couple months to go load up with cash and pay cash for a new 09 sled with all the mods for next season!:):beer;:beer;:beer;
 
From what I've heard on this end the Cumaparts are pulling harder and dooing better on fuel that these new Cats. A 565 C will out pull a 600 C-15. I hope that Cat gets their shiat together with the emissions BS. C has with out that fancy afterburner that's
a PITA to service. Unless you can get away w/o the emissions...

well that 565 that I had in my T800 with all that emission afterburner crap had nothing but codes !!! just a pile of sh!t...exhaust clamps breaking, flanges failing ...fuggin near died when the flex pipe broke the fumes were soo bad ....in 07 the Cummins were the sh!t I loved the 535 for sure ...

This Cat 625 is actually one of the best as far as numbers go ....fuel milage up 15% and loads of tork as long as you lug the guts out of it

ice roads are kinda out right now as my finance company wants to know what I am gonna do after the ice .they wanna see comnsistancy and garanteed work instead of flash in the pan ..probably will be in a better position next year to back on the ice ..:rolleyes:

but what's it cost to buy a big rig like that? Do they come in different option levels and trim and all that? I mean like can you get them with leather power seats and all that jazz if you want?

also what kinda power outputs on the motors do they come with?

no thats all cool ...just pretend that you are buying a Ferrari ... or Lambo

leather heated 12 way seats ....leather interiors .....600 hundred horse under the hood .....all the bell and whistles that you could dream of sun roofs, fridges sofa beds ....chrome chrome and more chrome any motor and tranny or diff spec you want ....1 piece front windshields or 2 piece ....big air cleaners 17s or small 15s .....lights
yada yada yada $190 grand and shes all yours not counting roo bars headache racks ...bling etc
