Sons first ride on his own

Its a beautiful thing...now start a sledding account right next to his college account...they may end up costing you about the same :eek:

COngrats to the young man!

Nice! I remember the days when I took my kids riding for the first time. Damn those were the days. :D It's great you got it on video. You can watch it over and over. I wish I would have done that. your a good father for teaching them such a fun sport that they will carry for the rest of their life!

Taking him out again tomorrow. We are launching from Strawberry river about 10 and going to do the loop to Coop Creek and to the truck. He is not ready to get off the trail much so it is just a long ride with the boy and teaching him the basics but it is a blast. Thanks to all.

Congrats Scott.
My son is 8-1/2 and riding an Exciter ll 570. It's been long tracked and he does well in the powder. Trying to teach him to predetermine his turns to keep him out of trouble.

I know how proud I feel and I bet you were ginning ear to ear.;):D:beer;

Ok so we rode again today, having to much fun to bring out the camera. The boy was climbing some hills cutting tracks through some trees and playing in some fields in 2+ feet of snow. He has a bad habit of following me almost anywhere I go, may be a problem not sure yet. He got stuck 3 times, gotta learn somehow.
