ive heard 5 people are bidding on it but i havent heard of anyone being awarded it
Lets hope that grumpy guy that did it a couple of years ago from Sierra Village gets it. He did a good job. Jim
I too hope that the grumpy guy get's it. He did a great job! That was the last time I saw hwy 108 groomed to Fed Spec's.

Where do you find the "specs" from the Federal Gov't concerning grooming?

You have to get the Specs. from the contract, Every Forest Dist has a different set of Specs. Don't know why when it's Green Sticker Funds that they use . You would think that the State would have more say on Start times and how the Specs. are to be to written? But not the case. Summit Dist Specs. are Different than down on the Sierra Nat. Forest or over on Hwy 4 just across the river from Hwy 108, or even up North around McCloud Shasta area All Different! It would be nice for consistince(looks right)(spell check) Ha Ha . anyways thats what I've got on that!!

Hey Jim, No on the Snow!!! And the closing date on the Contract is Dec. 2, Should know on the 3rd or First thing the week following. Sunny and warm here over the weekend, I guess more of the same for this week! Good wheather of working on the Cat!!!

Looks like Christmas at the cabin this year with no snow. The only thing left to do is to take the plow off the quad and go riding in the dirt

Yes this sucks! But when your working on a piece of Equipment,waiting on a Feds to make there mind, Maybe this is a good thing! NOT REALLY!!!! It will be a late start for the snow thats for sure, Seen it before not all that long ago 06,07. And yes still NO word!!
