I know exactly what you mean 
Try to keep that area low traffic guys. I've only seen a couple actual sledders out there (not skiing), and the ones that I did see were very nice about taking the skinners and us other sled serve skier's into consideration while riding.
No one rides the lines I ski there anyway, but the rest of the skiing crowd that utilizes that area can get pretty agro cause the same slopes they ride, sledders ride.
Lets try to keep that place the way it is and be very conscious about not pissing tons of people off.

Not trying to get a beer fest organized. I only ride there mid-week after the area closes for that reason.

Can't really ride, tore my MCL, bruised my femur, bruised and cracked tib plateau and got a large chunk of cartilage floating around in my knee somewhere. I tried to ride gallagher this weekend, but it was rough and I couldn't get off the sled so it wasn't super safe. Regardless, my sledding will be limited and will be designated photographer/videographer for a while.
