Hey that is cool! Vid two D8 looks like it might have ended badly! Love the burns in McCall! Last Friday looked just like that except maybe a little deeper and softer then what we see on your vids.

No we were on the east hills "dark side of the moon". The sun burns out there at about one o'clock! We were starting to make our OH CRAP WE ARE CAMPING fire at about 1:30..until somebody actually looked at the time and the battle continued. Almost made happy hour at Lardos! ALMOST

Up the burns looks just like that and it was PERFECT CONDITIONS. I didn't look at your day posting... but you know..AWESOME! Best total day of the year so far in McCall. We had a couple days with better snow but the combo of weather and conditions really made it perfect.

Good videos. Where did you get your camera? Spendy? Durable? Lightweight? I've been looking at getting one but dont know what to look for when buying one.

Also looking for a camera that records onto SD cards or something similar. No moving parts. How are you triggering the start/stop of the camera????

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Do you ever worry about losing the camera whlie boondocking though the trees?? I would think one pine bow could take it off pretty easily.

The camera is mounted pretty well to the helmet, if you knock the camera off you may also have a sore neck!
