Some people have too much time!

Fun to see again.
I first saw the tractor sq.dance at the MN State Fair, back in ... oh... 1957,1958...1959... when the area named "Machinery Hill" actually meant something.
I was in highschool then, and even tho I was a city kid, I always liked machines.

International harvester used to have a HUGE circus tent with bleacher seats inside and they would parade through all their farm and construction machinery, with a "ring master" on a P.A. announcing all the features of each macnine.

The last presentation was the tractor square dance.

Still in my memory was the year they performed it with crawler tractors. (TD-series dozers) Lot of fancy gear shifting, shuttle reverse, and steering clutch & brakes,Diesel exhaust and engine sounds. :D

Park Rapids, MN antique power show may still do this same dance. I was last at their show in 2000.
