Soapstone yet?

Need to burn some gas to break in the new sled anywhere with enough snow to ride.. seriously 2 tanks??? Anyway thinking Soapstone basin road maybe tomorrow?

With some of the snow totals I've seen this evening, you could definitely get a trail ride in.

Is there anywhere you can park up there with the road still being open? I've never rode the mirror lake highway as I always ride from the nobblets parking lot but they are still plowing The road from there. Any advice would be awesome as I am itching to get out and ride.

Yes, there is a parking lot along 150, where the soapstone basin road starts.

Road up Mill Hollow today. Parked at the junction of Rt 35 and the Mill Hollow turn off plenty of snow on the roads. Was deep enough to carve on the road. Wind sheltered meadows up top were ok to venture off road a little. Just need to be carful.

We were the guys with the 17s up there. Thanks for breaking the trail ahead of us so we could break in our new sleds. We got into some really deep stuff but with no base .. still pretty fun up there!
