SO... TABS WENT UP! About 100%

I am glad to pay more per sled as long as I can see a difference in grooming at the end of a normal riding year. Last year was last year, we cant control mother nature. We should have extra money left over from this year but, next year might be a different because the money taken in is used a year later than taken in. Dan, can you conform this?

To license a sled is really really cheap. One day of skiing(lift ticket) at Crystal mtn is more than a whole year to license a sled. I just hope everyone will license their sled no matter what the winter forecast is for any winter.

just cuz I need to break the ice.. been awhile...i'll say it again...

less grooming means less people in my stash! :face-icon-small-ton

I licensed 2 sleds last yr. rode one a handful of times.. it would be nice to have a discount for unused registrations.. that's never going to happen. but I can dream..

Maybe you can get a refund on your sled since you decided not to use it as much.....

Were sno park permits $40 last year? I got mine with my tabs last year so I don't recall but that seems a bit steep.

Cost for snomo tabs $50. Coming out of Schiebers turn right and see that the groomer just paved the way out for me! PRICELESS!!!!!!

The state did not increase the cost of tabs!!!

We the snowmobilers did!!!
WSSA asked and it was voted in.

Snowmobiling facts in Washington State

·********The*economic impact*of snowmobiling is conservatively estimated to be*$70 to $90 million per year.

·********There are over*3,500 miles of groomed and marked trails. The majority of the trails are on public lands (National Forests, Bureau of Land Management, Washington DNR, State Parks).

This isn't directed at you Summit, just using your facts.

$70-90 million would generate roughly $5.6-7.2 million in sales tax. Where does that money go & why aren't we lobbying for a piece of it instead of raising fees. After all, it's our money.

Of the 3500 miles of trails, how many are groomed snowmobile trails? If not all, who's paying for the rest of them?

Just for the record, I've been a snowmobiler for many years. I didn't ask for any increase.

Does that means, if number of register sleds goes back up to 36k a year, they will reduce the registration fees back to where they were?

They should have a lower sales tax bracket for toys...
