So I am boosted what is next

Obviously the turbo is a little more noticable item on an slightlly underpowered sled. The skid would be more sutble change but you would still be able to tell the differences. The nytro had a trenching problem in 08 less so on the newer models due in part to a bad soft track but also due in part to the rear skid and approach angle. The TS or KMOD help the sled climb up on top of the snow better and have better more controlable weight transfer. So you would notice it being easier to get going again in deep snow. The sled would feel more stable climbing . I noticed that i was able to go to places that before i would just burry it big time without any issues. Hyfax wear was horrible with my stock skid and with the TS it is a no issue. On the 08 it was a night and day difference. On the later models it was less drastic because Yamaha was learning things from the aftermarket companies like KMOD and TS on what made a good skid for a mountain sled.
IMO it is worth the coin for sure. which one works better is debatable. Is it something you have to do right away that is debatable as well. will the sled work with the stock skid sure but it will work a whole lot better with it.
I dont have boost so for me The track made the biggiest change followed by the rear suspension, and then the front suspension. then the other mods where more about reducing weight which in turn effected the performance but in a more indirect manner.

That really helps.. I already switched the track which did help.... I think I am leaning towards Timbersled at this point... I appreciate everyone's help!

I did see your write up on it with the install.... Have you ridden the ezride ( I have a line on one for 1600)? Also would you describe the noticeable difference like the turbo was? Sorry I wish I had someone in my riding group with any of these changes but I don't.... So just getting as educated as possible before I drop the coin...

I LOVE my EZ-Ryde skid so far. My personal belief it's the best all around skid out there. That being said it's all in what your looking to get for your riding style. All of them have there positives & some negatives but anyone of them are WAY better than stock.

Having had the privilege of riding Christophers sled when the suspension was stock, then seeing it change over to the K-Mod skid, and then finally when he dialed it in.

I would say next to his supercharger it is by far the most noticeable change on the sled.

The K-mod suspension made pulling his sled over, boon-docking, and playing in powder a night and day difference.

If you want to see changes, go K-Mod. I personally would love to go that route when I get the chance.

If I was to do it again this is what I would do after turbo:

- Running Boards
- Track
- Steering post extension thingy
- Skis
- Kmod rear skid. (bang for the buck you can't beat this skid)

So I have done everything besides the skis and skid...... Did you end up doing one of the +3 front ends? I seem to be ok with my skis for now.... so now I am deciding on the front end or the skid.....

Well i personally am headed to do the front end first. I will be changing to a set of +4 and see how that goes.

I was going to get the skins front end but after reading and researching I ordered the CR Racing +3 36" front end. I ordered at the beginning of December and I am still waiting. Friday they told me a week to a week and a half longer

That's unfortunate to hear... I was looking at the 37w... Are the 36w special order? I would be interested to hear how those work for you....

Well when I ordered them they were custom ordered but I see they have arms on their site now. Truth be told I think they are 36.75". I'll take a measurement when I get them.

The CR Racing narrow front end is actually 36.75 inches wide BUT they call it 37x3 front end. When I ordered mine Chad told me they were only building them as they got ordered. I'm sure it's because they aren't sure what the demand will be for it with the whole "NEW VIPER" sled coming out & yes they're special order.
I haven't had mine out on the snow yet cause there isn't any but it does look really sweet & NO pre-bent sh*t that breaks easy!!

Nytro Build.

IMO installing any after market skid and front is an improvement from stock. This is my experience from biulding my 08 nytro and my buddies 08 a few years ago . These sleds are both 270MCX kits with 162 2.25 tracks. As for front end I went with the Zbros new style +3 front. Performance wise it does well but I am having problems with the upper hiem joint durability also no bump stops for the spindles so the end up hitting on the spindle and the lower A arm. The spindles are anodized and after two years they are a different color than the arms so the need powdercoated. I also had to update the tie rods to thicker tubing provided by zbros.

The skins I installed on my buddies and does not come with spindles but I believe it performed better and has had no issues. I have not been around the CR racing front.

As for the rear skid. My TS pre 2011 with ice age rail and 9 inch inner weels and fox float 1s valved for my wieght I have rode for 4 years now and tree riding performance and tunablility is easy. And now with the 3inch performance is better. Of course I just hit a stump last week and cratered it but that is not the skids fault. But replacement parts are on there way.

My buddies ezryde we have had troubles. We have tried 3 different shock setups and been in contact with ezryde and still can not make the sled transfer correctly. But for chute climbing it would be the ticket. The front shock bushings crap out about every 3rd ride and have also ripped two front skid shocks apart.

K mod I have no experience but have heard geat things. In fact after the stump of death I almost ordered one but I am so comfortable with my TS skid that I did not want to change.

This is the experience I have had Installing and riding these products for 3 years not meaning to bash on any products just trying to help you with the build. Good Luck.
