The Buck/Bennett race is ugly! Lots of mud being thrown. That's an important one for conservatives. But one that really hits close to home for us in the Eagle/Summit county area is Polis/Baily. Polis is the douchbag that sent Hidden Gems to capital hill. I talked to Baily and he told me he would do everything he could to kill the Wilderness movement. Everyone get out and vote, there are some really close races.
If everybody goes and votes then it could be good all of the way around. I don't know a single soul that wants Hickenlooper. That guy is a festering anal sore.
Baily may wanna kill the Wilderness movement but if that fcukhole Hickenlooper gets elected, Baily will be helpless. As for Hickenlooper, I don't know why he has gotten as far as he has. he has literally destroyed Denver and people still think he is the answer for our State? These are the same people who thought Obama was the real answer, problem is that they are too pigheaded or just plain stupid to realize that Dems can't fix anything, except elections that is.

Republicans are about to get there chance, the only difference in the two parties is in there names.
I get your sarcasm, but if you think there is no difference in the two parties when it comes to wilderness designation and snowmobilers loosing terrain, then you don't know much about the liberal movement. Polis has pushed and funded (he donated over a million to the Wilderness Workshop) the wilderness movement here in Eagle/Summit counties. Now that he will have a wilderness bill in place, he will get others to vote because it sounds like a good thing (to save the forest system). Problem is people don't do their homework and realize how bad wilderness designation can be.
Make sure and vote (preferably conservative).
Wish I could vote from Texas to help you guys out... 
You are half right. While the Republican party is full of crooks and liars, they do seem to side with us on the Wilderness issues and other land closures.

Yeah, I know Colorado failed. It's because all of the fluffy Libby's from CA and the East coast that have infected us by moving here and changing the way CO votes. If you look at our districts, I'd bet that the Metro areas are very blue, while the Western slope and rural areas voted red predominately.

its unbelievable...one of the only states that didnt swing. it amazes me how so many people dont bother to vote and then expect to be able ride their motorized toys in the future. In the buck race it was extremely close until all the votes came in from boulder and denver county that swung the victory to bennett.
To whine about the areas that people are voting in is silly.
If you want to get repubs voted in stop getting retards like buck elected in the election. (edit, sorry... primary)
The only places where people didn't vote right are the places where the idiots ON the right voted for whack jobs in the primary.
The rest of the normal people in this world DO vote, and they won't vote for retards like mays & buck. I thought Tancredo at least had a chance, the guy has a brain & isn't the tool that buck is, but no go there either.
You guys are the ones voting in the primaries... think about it next time. WE are the reason that WE failed.
Either way, with a mixed congress, no wilderness bill will make it's way through now.

TBH, I don't know much about the candidates as I don't live in Colorado. However, even if your options are idiots, they're better than democrats. Our governor (Texas) is a blithering idiot, but he was better than the other choice.
EDIT: I do understand what you're saying though. If your trying to bring people to your party you need to elect (primary) the candidates with the greatest chance of swinging people.

Bennett focused his attacks on the non-issues because of his horrible record in office and the stupid azz city voters took the bait. He's as bad as they come. As far as the Hickenlooper goes, this guy should just stick to running his restraunt cause he sure can't do anything else worth while.
Correct. But, voter turnout wasn't that great. We had about 5000 voters in Grand County vote, polls or mail-in. There are way more than 5000 registered voters here. So, yeah pretty sad turnout, but I'll bet you a turbo that EVERYBODY will b!tch and moan.
