So..... 20+lbs through an M1000?

michael (little orange cat) ran fairview last year and his sled ran pretty strong, I think he only had it up to 16lbs though? His pipe ended up cracking at the end of the day. Scotts ti tube nytro was giving that cat some fits though. Both sleds ran extremely hard!!!!

Its basically a twin to what glenn hall had been building/racing.

Hey yeah I just talked to woody and he said you wanted to know what to do to run more boost
first off you should get a pipe from D&D it will hold allot of boost i tried an slp and nothing but problems cracking and falling apart D&Ds pips are strong zero problems.
2nd 116+ motor OTC. fuel i run supper trick c-16 works to
3rd buy more reeds and cut out the front of your bulkhead and put a bar in i sell them. makes it easy to change reeds. the more boost you run the more you'll be changing them.
and run br9iex plugs
what turbo? comp? you might have to upgrade

and you don't need to do anything to your crank like the other guy above said to do I've hit 30.5 lbs of boost on my data logger only problem was head gasket and reeds and spark plugs.

and i would trash the stock pistons and put some wiscos in they can handle a little more detonation

anymore info and ill have to charge you lol hope that helps

Thanks bud! Been looking to hear from you!
As far as setup, I am running the 3071, stock compression and br9ecs plugs.
Stock pistons, stacked reeds.

Well the weak point on mine was Y pipe. Not sure I hit 20 but it should have been there. Turned it up from 19 when it ran like a raped ape and that took down my Y pipe and maybe a cylinder or 2. I will take some pics when I pull it apart. I was running 2/3 116 1/3 112 and I think it was fine for fuel. AFRs were 12.2 on the run before it died so I think the y pipe blow took it down. Kicking self for doing that without a new Y pipe on it.

Andrew, you are the man! At least you had the cronies to try! I only got up to 17.5 lbs! Never fear though, by the time we do another shootout, I will have it turned up some more....
Besides, wasn't it a lot of fun picking on those 1200's?:face-icon-small-hap
