So. . . 1100 T control box

From what I understand the altitude compensation is new this year. On the Z1 turbo the boost would stay the same at higher elevations, resulting in a lower absoutle pessure in the intake, and thus a lower amount of power. The current ECU will increase the boost at higher elevations to maintain the same absoulte pressure.

Turbo583,

I'd get a Boost It system in a heartbeat but like I said it only controls fuel. Isn't the stock system control the boost electronically??? I wish it was as simple as putting a manual boost controller and the Boost It system but from what I understand the ECU compares so much more than other systems......but I could be wrong lol.

I am pretty sure that if you could fool the ecu into only seeing stock boost levels that the boost it system would work. On the yamaha the boost it works well cause the stock ecu has no way to read boost pressure.

Also there are alot of other things to be taKen into account on the 1100t. The remaps are running different timing curves, fuel settings and boost levels. The Hyjacker only adds fuel and boost and does not alter timing.

Being able to control timing on a turbo engine is going to be key. As being able to pull timing back at full throttle full boost situations will prove to be the safest. With still being able to run an agressive timing in situations that need it.

this type of fuel controller will take the boost pressure up a few pounds and dump more fuel for the added pressurized air.....and WHAT ABOUT TIMING??? rebuilding a 2 stroke 800$ .....rebuilding a 4 stroke 4000$ i hope people will realize soon the fuel controller on a boosted application is very very dangerous.

Sorry mate. Tread is not about how fantastic a standalone is. We all know about the advanatage of a SA.
Tread is about all the products that is available in the market.

it is not about the SA, it is about the function, reliability and security.

every product on the market do the job, what is supposed to do. ( i hope it)

Branix Do you have any dyno sheets of your system on a 1100t? Also what elevations have you ridden it at? And one more question. . . Do you know if Push has got a price point figured out on the control box yet? I don't want to bother him constantly. I just want to have an idea of the price in my head. $500 would be nice, $600 would still be ok but I feel like $700 would be to much and I would be looking to another setup.

500 for what? ecu?
maybe for the epoxy case, but not even close to the electronic parts.

push turbo kit ecu is a OEM, that means it is a part of the turbo kit, no standalone sales. the box is configured for that kit only. if you have BD, cuttler or what ever you need a programmable unit, then you go to dakota performance or any other of our tuners and they do your setup.

Brani, I am talking about the powerbox for the 1100t. Not the standalone.

Also would like to know a ball park price for the powerbox, going to be a hot product when released. One question your website states that the powerbox is pre configured with 3 stages but only lists what stage 1 and 2 are. Just wondering what the 3rd stage on the box is?

Thanks

retail 850 - 920 depend on sled (m or f, there will be a difference in the setup, on F we have acceleration and speed, on M we have throttle response and power) including box, info dash, mapswitch and wideband controller.

we move the powerbox to the last product in the production line, then i was surprised by the 2 stroke and yamaha response. and there is anyway a huge brake in period on AC :-)

Give me good snow here in Mn and I will have the sled broke in, in a weekend.

I will get the sled broke in then the new can will go on. I have heard stories of 400 rpm increases when adding a high flow can. Then I will have to reclutch to bring the rpm back down.

So this is not the SA just a plug in box to the stock ecu

just send me one already :)

I am not into all the drama of claimed HP, want BULLET proof riding and EXTREME reliability...oh yeah, and all that in a 200HP package...which I am more than confident is possible...

So, just let me know where to send my digits and send me the box(es) :)

Here is what I have received from Freeagent today. I ordered the ezjacker it is a plug and play unit no messing with it. It produces 200hp and has a 15hp 15 second switch to go with it. The Hijacker 2.0 I was told is going to take some tuning to get what you want but is capable of 280hp. If you would like one of these units at this cost you can contact Michelle at 541.523.3500

Those are some great prices, the ezjacker seems like it will be more popular for the average guy. Wonder if a guy could bypass the switch to stay on longer then 15 seconds so could have the option of 200hp and 215hp at the flip of a switch.

Be available by December or we looking into the newyear for the powerbox Branix?

Just checking but it sounds the same as the branix? No increase in boost but optimized fuel and timing to gain 23hp. Any idea if 200hp is with stock exhaust or free flow?

units are produced in 2 weeks, but i will not give it free until i see one of the production units, AC is known for last minute changes.

it sucks to have 500k usd hanging around but there is no other way to keep the quality. more then 80% of the production is already pre-ordered.
it make more sense to wait few weeks, instead of sending updates out to the customer ever few weeks. mo
