Snowy Range June 5th Ride

Rode Saturday June 5th in the snowies. Was raining early morning, but cleared up for a good late spring ride on the west side. photo of lake Marie bathroom and what snow is left. Still lots of snow for the die hards.

Highway 130

Highway 130 is open over the top now, was lots of tourist traffic on saturday morning looking at all the snow. Snow was ok for spring time snow. Was a lot of water running in the creeks down lower. Had a fun day for a June 5th ride. RickM

Where did you unload at just a wide spot or at the bathroom turnout at Lake Marie? Heading up this weekend for a 4 day weekend in Centennial. Just a get away but going to take the sleds for a little cruise to get the Sta-Bil circulated through really good.

Where to Park

There are quite a few pull outs all the way up from green rock clear past lake marie bathrooms down to where the "N" trail went north on the west side. We parked where "N" goes north which would take you to where quaily warming hut usually set during the winter. Looks like snow is settling a lot this week but there is still deep spring snow. Have fun, I think Im done until next season.RickM
