Its about time to see the white stuff. We gone two to three inches last nite. Whether report says more to come tonite. (still snowing outside) Hows the snow else where in the state? Watching it snow is giving me the ich to go riding.

In casper we got around 6" i can't wait!!!
Here In Alpine we have just about 1 Foot and still snowing!!

I have 10" standing on everything (Worland Area). With the melt rate, I would guess we have gotton around 24" in the last 3 days here in town.
We've got 12+ here north of Gillette. As stated above, no way of knowing exactly how much with it melting like it is. Maybe it will hang around up high for awhile.
Just got back from the mountains and theres a ton of snow up there. But it is melting.
Most of the snow in town is gone. More on the way so says the weather channel. Hopefuly well be riding by the 31. Cant wait to ride the dragon, Got off a yamaha and on to my first polaris.

wyo............my son is heading out to Jackson for the winter and looking for a decent job that would allow him time to board alot. He has a job at the mountain if he wants but he is looking to move out there and maybe find a career. Do you have any ideas............?

As of 11-1-08 there really is no snow anywhere in the state!! The Wind Rivers are suppose to get some starting late tonight thru Wend. And even if they get 15 inches there is no way you would want go yet.. I always tell people to wait until the 1st of Dec. At that time you may be able to get off the trail... So lets hope that this time when it snows it will stay around for the rest of the year..

SNOTEL is reading 17.3 inches at N. French Creek. I can't wait. I need to get a sled yet.

that isnt enough to bring the sled along?
You want to be alittle careful.
Even if the sensors are showing 19.2 at the sensor, if there has been a LOT of wind you will find most of the open areas blown clear. SO you end up with snow in the trees and no where else.
I REALLY want to hit the snow, just not sure it is worth the sled damage that will happen.
