Snowest Legit Buyer/Seller list

I was robbed by a fellow snowester Named Scott Hillius. Went By the user name Rookie69 on the old forum. He took me for $225.00. He advertised that he had a set of fox zero pros that were 17.5 inch center to center but what he sent me was old white fox shocks that were only 15 inch center to center. When I asked for my money back he said no and then edited the add on snowest to match what He sent me. What a prick! However I printed the add before he changed it. Needless to say I got robbed.

Thats a great idea. I do alot of ebay business and love the feedback system. I have had some great experiences with snowesters, snowest is more of a cummunity where people are MORE than happy to help you out. It seams to me that people selling on snowest are tring to get those parts to someone that needs then, and that is more inportant then making a buck on it. I would love to leave a list of people that I have done business with, but it would be quite a list.

I have sold and I have bought alot both ways and I haven't been burnt ( YET)
nor have I burnt anybody that I know of.
I think if you had to fill out your profile accurately that would help alot JMO

Back in the old forum days we had a list of "beware" scum bags. It worked pretty good. I have bought and sold $1000.00s of stuff on here NEVER had a problem. We need the scum bag list again!

not to get this all started again but if you would have brought me a sled in that condition with broken crap on it and not disclosing it to me before i took the drive to meet you you'd be missing some teeth my friend. you might also consider boxing up the spare parts he didn't apparently get and send them off to him. unfairly abused give me a break. you truly have a lot of nerve! you are the exact reason why i personally think a list like this is a great idea. especially since i'm hoping to find a nice used dragon at some point for next season. now if we could do that and get all the smack talkers off here, this forum might turn into a decent place to visit. not one to say much but that comment blew me away!

I like the idea of something to give some credibility. Needs to be something that can not be altered unless you have had a transaction with them though. Otherwise I can see some of the SW posers discrediting those that don't deserve it.

I do quite a bit of buying and selling here and hope I make the A list.

The only member I have bought from somewhat recently was hardass (not sure if he goes by that on the new forum) and he was good to deal with. I've also bought from paragadgets on the old forum- great product and service.
I think the Ebay style rating system would be killer too, it would make buying/selling on Swapmeet much more straight forward.

Ditto, an e-bay style feedback style would be great
and I like the idea of filled out info required for sellers. before some scumbag gets rich off of our trust as a community.

i only got burnt once

i bought a chain case from a guy and he said ill check shipping so the next day he called and gave me total price so i sent him a check for the parts and shipping and guess what i got a cracked chain case that was useless after that deal makes me wonder who i can trust .. but ive bought stuff from other fellow members that were great to work with . like my friends say i will bed over backwards for a fellow sledder !!!!!!

How does the personal reputation tool work. I know you can post on someones reputation but how do you see someones reputation score? Is this something we could use? Or is it just for bragging rights?

I haven't sold anything yet, but i have bought some stuff on here, have had excellent luck, and skidoomxzkunz has to be one the best guys i've bought stuff from. I think a rating system would be great though.
