snowest colorado members meet up at snow show?

Im still new to the forums, and new to colorado for that fact as are others. I was just wondering if anyone was interested in have a group get to together of sorts.

The snow show is like a giant get together! There is a thread in the Colorado section about it.

What day(s) are you going?

Join CSA while you're there and find out where your local club is.

A few years back a little gig was put together by some CO Snowesters out in the swap meet area. BBQ, beers, lawn chairs, good conversation and even some of us took a rip on the bar stool! It was some fun until the event organizers put the Kybasch on the whole thing. :face-icon-small-fro

Snowesters were meeting Snowesters and life was good. Organizers didn't like the competition with the food and liquor inside the show.

Anyway, not that it has to be about BBQ and beer but, I've never seen it hurt when it comes to bringing together sledheads. Plus, sledheads are one of the most finicky groups you'll find when it comes to socialization. I think many were pulled off the ni$ple to quickly and never learned that, typically, other snowmobilers don't bite and it's okay to strike up a conversation. Regardless of brand loyalty, skill set or sex.

I think its a great idea but, pulling it off is a difficulty. But, you'll probably be able to find me kickin' at the new RMK with BillyGoat telling me I should buy one with a VOHK - Boondocker setup of course. Or, shooting the chit with BCIL and seeing how much life is diff now that he and his better half have an even better half (or quarter...:face-icon-small-con...not sure) Or listening to how many parts HodRodRedneck tore up last season............or at the Felker booth chewing the fat and missing Tyler:brokenheart: and talking how great the new "whiggly-skid" is. Or.........maybe I'll just be close to the older guy serving the beer......who doesn't drink himself....enjoying a beer or two.!

But, you'll probably never find me........this Rogaine stuff has really kicked in!:face-icon-small-ton

I agree on the tailgating aspect. I'd like to see that come back. It was a big deal each year here on the 4M. People really got pumped for that.

Ill be there Friday and Saturday, ill also be wearing a coast guard hoody. Should make me easy enough to spot. Too bad they weren't happy with the tailgating, it's a great way to meet other riders. Hopefully I can find the stuff I'm looking for.
