Snowcheck Limited Edition adds what?

I have looked everywhere I can on the Polaris site and can't find what I'm looking for.

The 800 Pro RMK 163 is listed at $12,499.
The Snowcheck Limited Edition 800 Pro RMK 163 is listed at $12,699

What do I get for my $200 extra? From what I can see it is just color? What am I missing?

Your not missing anything....

I thought I was the only seeing that I am going to call my dealer on mon and ask him what the deal is maybe someone already has the answer. I want the all black with red panels have to ask him about that also.

The LE's feature a TPO plastic hood that is more expensive and different paint on the suspension components.

Same with the Retro last year and on the RUSH the year before.

The LE Hood is easily painted if you wanted to change the color.

If you look at the price of the replacement hood on a Retro last year... compared to the Black PRO RMK hood (made with Poly ethylene).... you will see this cost diff.

HMM..

Give that man a cigar.

Helpful as always!!

It will be interesting Monday to see what my dealer has for pricing and if they can tell me the same thing as I learned here about the Limited Edition.

I think Team Polaro better check out the blacked-out Summit seen on a neighboring site. A blacked-out Pro would be choice and worthy of an additional $200.

If you want to order different side panels you have to order an LE.
Seems crazy to me.
Another way for them to squeeze every dollar out of you!

not true. If you snowcheck a regular black pro rmk you have the options of different side panel colors as well.

You should get both sets of side panels. If not then its not worth the extra 200 bucks.

When you opt for different color panels you get the ones that come on the sled and the extra set. Same is true of the white and red grippers. What I don't like is that if you start with a white Pro LE and add the red graphics (not read panels) you pay for two sets of white panels....WTF????

Thanks for the insight on the white hood changes Eric. I've been wondering as much.

My bad (Dealer told me had to order an LE to get side panel options)
So if you order a stock model you can get any side panel or just non LE panels?
Really digging the Turbo Silver accy. panels but I like the silver suspension parts on the LE.
Can someone please clear this up?

Sooooo order the black one...

And put the white panels on it.

Wonder how that would look.

You can only get the non LE panels for the stock models. The only way to accomplish what you want is to order the white LE and buy silver panels after the fact from the dealer.

My dealer told me that at the dealer show Polaris didn't say anything about different hood material for the LE sleds. Plus he said if you order different color panels you only get that color, which contradicts what is on the Polaris web site.

Obviously the dealer needs to take me to the dealer show to ask the questions that the average consumer would!!

Maybe...Seems like everyone and their dog is going "murdered out" these days. At least around here.
