Snowbike video!!!!!

Looks like a great place to ride. Up here where I'm at in Alaska, the spring riding is over. We had a week of very warm temps and then it got cold again, so everything is rock hard. I'm jealous is what I'm trying to say.

that looks super fun THANKS
what where the bikes ?

The bikes were:

2013 Service Kawasaki with an 85hp 500 2 stroke and a one off titanium long track kit..."The Snowblower"

2012 Kawasaki KX450 with a long tracked 2012 kit

2013 KTM 450 SXF with a 2013 SX kit

2012 KTM 450 XCW with a 2012 short track kit and the bike I'm riding in the video.

Was going to ask how you guys rode the pavement. :cheer2::D 30' of cement and I was done for the year (maybe permanently) :face-icon-small-fro

It was dicey for sure! We rode LONG stretches if pavement. They scooted right along in 3rd gear. Just lean a little but the front will wash out and there is NO steering! Ha! Hey Steve, I forgot to tell you. When I got home I had no center skag and the center keel was ground flat to the bottom of the ski! I had no Idea it happened.

I am assuming this was with the redesigned center skag? Without a carbide on that center skag it's going to wear out really fast on asphalt and then destroy your ski in short order. I think for spring riding like that running your front tire tell you get to the snow would be worth while.

They are a little interesting to ride on long stretches of pavement!

I need to check the skis on both of mine then. Im almost scared to look! :face-icon-small-dis

someones gotta be able to bust the drift right at beta creek!! for the sake of the skis and your life, not a road i would wanna be ripping down with no snow!!

Why not use the Dolly for the ski? The price of a ski is close to the same as the dolly kit? Thanks for sharing the video!

How do you like the 450 xcw as a snow bike I've got one I'm thinking about putting one on next year.
