Got an ABS refill and a Shovel from SnowBigDeal. Nice guys...took the time to make sure I got the right shovel to fit my needs and storage style.
Good prices too. Nice meeting everyone.

Scored a pair of the new Black Ops goggles from 509. Very nice...slapped them on my helmet and they fit like a glove. Can't wait to try out the polarized lens once the snow flies.


Plus I was able to sell an old SLP head for a doo at a buddies spot in the swap.



Thanks to all the vendors who took the time to make the trip and make the show that much better.

1st off! it was great seeing all of you!

The swapmeet looked like a huge success. i'd guess we sold 1/2of what we were there to sell. Some of prices for old sleds were silly.

Picked up both schooled vids for $40, thought that was a good deal.
And a bucket of Legend oil!

Took Mike's Avy class on Saturday and picked up last years BCA Float 30 avy pack from Snow Big Deal. Got to pull the ripcord and re-pack the bag before leaving with it which was really cool. Also, you can have those cartridges refilled at any scuba shop that refills tanks. Hope I never have to pull it in the backcountry!

I was looking for a Polaris IQ Racer 600 and was told that there was a white one for $4500 that had just left around 2 pm parked next to Fastline Performance trailer. Just stopped in to grab a track for my daughters Indy Lite. Got a good conditon 121 "Bighorn" track with 1.5 paddles for 40$. Lil Pink is going to be chuggin along this winter.

Note to self, never buy a lodge in the winter, it is amazing what you own when the snow melts.

Thanks SnowBigDeal for the entertainment every time your customers set off a new pack and scared everyone else in the area! Good for a laugh nearly every time. I was concerned Sunday when the goldfinger kid pulled out his crocodile dundee knife though.

"the gold-finger kid" this is classic, anyone who has walked through the snow show knows exactly who you are talking about. I wonder if their sales have dipped since the first schooled video came out. From previous experience getting sucked in last year, when he asked me "what kind of sled do you ride?" this year, I replied "I don't need what you are selling."

Last year the Gold Finger guy called me over and asked what sled I had? Told him that I had a new XP without a goldfinger. My lefty on the old REV didn't fit so I never made the transfer.

He was kind enough to give me a complete kit...minus the handle so I could install on my new sled at no charge.

Gold Finger is ok in my book. Makes a quality product and customer service to match.

If your too scared are too cool to use one is a whole other story.
