The gasoline Stage 1 Boost Cooler™ kit is available for forced induction applications that are either fuel injected or carbureted. Operation is very simple: the system starts injecting when the boost switch reaches the user-adjustable point and it injects a fixed amount of fluid through the nozzle until the switch opens again. This makes it a good choice for low to medium boost setups looking for an octane enhancement and cooler intake charge. Hurricane

I got my kit from Hurricane Performace which is the snow kit at heart (to be honest I'm not really sure how they are different). The hurricane kit is available from Hurricane Performace, or through Powder Lites. My kit has the linear controller which pulses DC to the pump increasing the frequency as boost rises. I can set min and max boost for 0-100% duty cycle. I believe there is a flow switch option available that reduces boost in the event of a loss in flow. I know Hurricane spent a lot of time developing nozzels that work in a sled.

Not impressed w snowperformance

On saturday, I recieved my 2- stage 2 meth kits after 3 weeks. I had spoke w Josh at snowperformance and Lordco. I orderd the kits through Lordco because of our business account and discount. I made sure Lordco and Snowperformance had correct information on the turbo apex's.I explained the 4 jets would be installed into the intercooler to feed the intake plenium. Sent a email to Josh to varify what I needed for a 4 cylinder and individual cylinder supply. Josh at snowperformance told me and lordco. The kits would be built to my needs w 4 -60 mm jets pr kit. Recieved 3 jets pr kit, recieved 1 90 degree pressure fitting w female 1/8 pipe thread to connect to jet and supply line. So know I am missing 1- 60mm jet, 3- 90 degree fittings[ custom fittings w 1'' length on pipe end for filters] per kit. Plus split connectors for supply lines for each jet. Nothing but runarounds and told there would be extra costs now. The shipping would be also at my cost. Then snow tells me I need upgraded nozzles, WTF ? Cant return because they are custom orders. Maybe Ill plumb them into the garden this summer.:face-icon-small-dis
