Snow here sucks so I .....

The snow here (or the lack of it really sucks (western Saskatchewan). The little bit of snow was almost to a usable level when the temperature started rising, now it is just a layer of mush on the ground.
I was in the shop yesterday looking at my sled and wishing that I had the time to head out to Revelstoke for some riding when I spotted the bike sitting along the wall. So I rolled it out checked it over and threw on my gear and headed out for a great afternoon's ride. Put on about 50 miles cruising and didn't hit a single bug. The whole time I was out I couldn't believe I was riding at the begining of March. Wow is all I can say. The stress relief was incredible .

Well our lower snow is pretty much gone now as well, the streets are dry, but sandy, ...I went into the insurance office yesterday and took out my Bike insurnace for the season, I just may get out today for a spin. Tomorrow is supposed to be 10+ celcius, ..if I am not sledding I will be riding my motorcycle for sure.

No bugs...., lol, riding in March I'm not surprised that you don't have any bugs...lol.

snow year has be crazy. i'm from the the very southwestern corner of sask and we normally don;t get alot of snow except for a good snow year about every 10 years. I moved to northern alberta thinking i'd be in snow up the tits all the time with the nearby mountains of BC. hell i got out 3 weekends and its gone now. my family back home has be going to derbys every weekend and they still got about a foot of snow in fields.

We are 10 feet short of our average snow fall and Its coming to a end quick as well. But just starting to snow again, ya never know what March will bring..
